06/03/2009: On Wednesday night, followers of Ameril Umbra Kato, a field commander of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), detonated a military improvised explosive device fashioned from three mortar shells under one of the towers, damaging a tower of the country's National Transmission Corporation at Datu Montawal in Maguindanao province, Philippines.
