Incident Summary:

06/18/2009: On Thursday morning at about 0900, an Al Shabaab suicide car bomber killed 54 people, including the Somali Security Minister and a former Ambassador to Ethiopia, at a hotel in Beledweyne, Somalia. Also, 62 people were injured in the bombing. The Medina Hotel was extensively damaged.
