06/26/2009: On Friday afternoon at approximately 1700, in Khowst, Afghanistan, assailants detonated an improvised explosive device that was magnetically attached to a minivan, killing one translator for United States forces, wounding two civilians, and damaging the minivan. The Taliban claimed responsibility.
