06/30/2009: On Tuesday, in Konduz, Afghanistan, a local politician, identified as Hajji Nazir Ahmadzai, struck a mine with his vehicle, detonating the roadside bomb. The politician escaped unhurt. No group claimed responsibility, however, authorities suspect the Taliban is responsible for the attack.
