07/01/2009: On Wednesday night, in Miriki village, North-Kivu, Congo (Kinshasa), Rwandan Hutu rebels set fire to houses, damaging between 130 and 140 houses. No group claimed responsibility; however, authorities believed the Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda was responsible, but some village residents believed the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo was responsible.
