Incident Summary:

08/02/2009: On Sunday morning at 1000, in central Haditha, Al Anbar, Iraq, assailants detonated a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device in a public market, killing four civilians and three children, wounding 17 civilians and three children, and damaging two cars and several shops. No group claimed responsibility, but authorities suspected the Islamic State of Iraq (ISI) was responsible.
