Incident Summary:

08/19/2009: On Wednesday morning, Hami Salae, a Muslim villager of Kampon Chue-nga village tam bon Tha Sap of Yala, was ambushed and killed near his house while he was walking to a market. He was shot five times and pronounced dead on arrival at Yala hospital. There has been no claim of responsibility; however, police blamed suspected insurgents.
