Incident Summary:

08/27/2009: On Thursday morning, a landmine emplaced by unidentified militants exploded when a Muslim rubber tapper stepped on it in a rubber plantation, in the Katong area in Yaha, Yala, Thailand, killing the rubber tapper. No group claimed responsibility, although it was widely believed Muslim separatists were responsible.
