08/28/2009: Beginning Monday through 08/30/2009 on Wednesday, in Kokang, Shan State, Myanmar, fighting between ethnic Kokang militants and a joint army and police forces left 34 dead (eight militants, 15 Police officers and 11 soldiers). No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
