10/27/2009: On Tuesday evening, between Keradari and Barkakana, Hazaribgah district, Jharkhand, India, suspected Tritiya Prastuti Committee (TPC) militants abducted a government official, Nirmal Toppo, a circle officer of Keredari block (administrative division) and his driver, later freeing the driver. There was no motive or damage reported and no group claimed responsibility.
