Incident Summary:

10/29/2009: On Thursday night at 0000 midnight, in Chindgarh village, in Dantewada, Chhattisgarh, India, approximately sixty heavily-armed Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) members kidnapped a senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader, Jaisingh Manjhi, his brother, and nephew. Assailants took the victims to a nearby field and slit their throats with sharp weapons. The bodies of the victims were found on 10/30/2009. No damages were reported in the attack.
