Incident Summary:

12/15/2009: On Tuesday, a suspected suicide car bomb exploded in a market in Dera Ghazi Khan, Pakistan. Twenty-seven people were killed and more than 50 were wounded. Several shops were destroyed and a mosque was badly damaged. The house of senior provincial government adviser, Zulfigar Khosa, was damaged. Police believe the target may have been the provincial official, who was unhurt. Police also recovered body parts of the suspected bomber. No group has claimed responsibility.
