12/27/2009: On Sunday, assailants detonated an improvised explosive device (IED) targeting a procession in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, wounding 18 civilians, four children, two soldiers, and two police officers and damaging several shops and two vehicles. No group claimed responsibility, although it was widely believed Lashkar i Jhangvi was responsible.
