Incident Summary:

02/10/2010: On Wednesday night at 2230, in Dagestan, Russia, a unknown person attempted placing a homemade explosive device on the tracks of the Baku-to-Rostov-on-Don railway and accidentally detonated it. He died and a second person was injured. The tracks were not damaged. A second bomb was also found. No group claimed responsibility.
