Incident Summary:
03/15/2010: On Monday afternoon at 1400, in the Gushta area, in Nangarhar, Afghanistan, assailants set fire to vehicles, damaging three buses, a flying-coach and a civilian car but causing no casualties. Taliban spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, said their fighters torched six tankers supplying oil for NATO forces in the district, and also that an Afghan soldier was killed during the attack. The claim was not confirmed.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
