Incident Summary:

03/28/2010: On Sunday night, in Lafoole, Shabeellaha Hoose, Somalia, masked assailants fired upon and killed Abdi Muhammad Jimale, a prominent traditional elder in Mogadishu and a founder of the Hawiye Cultural and Unity Council. Jimale was also a member of the faction led by Muhammad Hasan Had which is in support of President Shaykh Sharif Shaykh Ahmad. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
