Incident Summary:

04/17/2010: On Saturday, near the Somali airport in Mogadishu, Banaadir, Somalia, assailants fired mortar shells at African Union (AU) troops after the plane of the Somali President, Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed, had landed, killing six people including four civilians. It is unknown if the attack caused any property damage. No group claimed responsibility for the attack although Al Shabaab fighters were suspected.
