Incident Summary:

05/02/2010: On Sunday night, in Yenagoa, Bayelsa, Nigeria, unknown assailants detonated a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device that was near a mechanic shop about 300 meters from the house and hotel belonging to the Deputy Governor of Bayelsa, Peremobowei Ebebi; no casualties were reported. One car, a green Mazda, was destroyed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility, although it was widely believed that a political opposition group was responsible.
