Incident Summary:

05/18/2010: On Tuesday, in the Dera Ismail Khan district of Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, at least 13 people, including the city's Deputy Superintendent of police and two other police officers, were killed and nine others were injured when a remote-controlled improvised explosive device attached to a bicycle was detonated by unidentified militants as a police vehicle carrying a senior officer passed by. The Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack.
