Incident Summary:
06/28/2010: On Monday morning at 1130, in a parking lot in Isnos, Huila, Colombia, assailants who identified themselves as members of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), asked if the vehicles in the parking lot belonged to the Gayco Company; when the response was that the vehicles belonged to Consorcio Paletara, the assailants proceeded to pour gasoline on the vehicle and set them on fire. Authorities suspect the attack occurred in retaliation to the Gayco company who has failed to pay the group extortion money for two months. The vehicles were damaged in the attack but caused no casualties.

The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
