08/21/2010: On Saturday, in the Eaq Teroq area of Almar district, in the Faryab province of Afghanistan, a remote-controlled bomb placed by unidentified militants detonated under a bridge, killing a former Mujahideen commander, Abdul Salam, his two sons, a bodyguard and driver. The attack caused an unknown amount of damage and the Taliban claimed responsibility.
