08/21/2010: On Saturday, in the Sawkai district of Konar, Afghanistan, unidentified gunmen abducted the governor of Sauki district, Hajji Ghulam Nabi, and his son. The status of the hostages and the outcome of the situation are unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the hostage taking, although Taliban militants were suspected.
