Incident Summary:

08/24/2010: On Tuesday, in the Zarghun Shar district of Paktia, Afghanistan, unidentified militants detonated an improvised explosive device placed in a wheelbarrow near a barbershop, targeting a local Afghan police chief. Seven civilians were wounded in the blast but the police chief escaped unharmed. No damage was reported and no group claimed responsibility.
