08/25/2010: On Wednesday, near the Adraskan district in Herat, Afghanistan, unknown gunmen kidnapped Fazia Gilani, a woman running for parliament, along with four of her family members, and six of her supporters. The status of Gilani, her family members and one other supporter is unknown, although five of the supporters were killed on 08/25/2010. No damage was reported and no group claimed responsibility, although the Taliban was suspected.
