09/02/2010: On Thursday, in the Borka district of Baghlan, Afghanistan, unidentified assailants kidnapped 28 Independent Election Commission workers. The workers were released on 09/03/2010. There were no casualties or damaged reported and no group claimed responsibility, although it was widely believed the Taliban was responsible.
