Incident Summary:

09/13/2010: On Monday, in Jar-e-Khusk village of Baghlan-e-Jadid district, Baghlan, Afghanistan, militants attacked the convoy of the Konduz province police chief, Abdul Rahman Syedkhili, with firearms. Two militants were killed in return fire from the police and four more were injured in a gun battle that lasted three hours. The Taliban claimed responsibility and no damage was reported in the attack.
