Incident Summary:
11/22/2010: On Monday, on an unspecified road in the rural area of Campo Tres, Tibu, Norte de Santander, Colombia, militants set two civilian vehicles and an 18 wheeler truck on fire. The arson attack resulted in no casualties although all three vehicles were completely destroyed. No group claimed responsibility for the attack, although authorities suspected the 33rd Front of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) was responsible for the attack as the group had threatened the civilian population to stay out of the region of Tibu and Catatumbo in an earlier attack in the same location.

Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
