Incident Summary:

02/01/2011: On Tuesday morning, on a road between Dugulubgey and Chegem, in the Chereksy district, Kabardino Balkariya, Russia, Russian security forces discovered a roadside improvised explosive device. It was discovered under an extremist placard, believed to belong to the Caucasus Emirate militants, buried about one meter deep. Federal Security Service bomb technicians were able to disable the device without incident and found the device to have a blast yield in the range of six to seven kilograms of TNT. No damage or casualties were reported and no group has claimed responsibility for the device.
