Incident Summary:

02/03/2011: On Thursday, in Makhachkala, Dagestan, Russia, an unknown assailant delivered a packaged improvised explosive device to the Sovetsky District administrative building and gave it to the Deputy Head of Architecture Department, Magomed Izutdinov. Izutdinov was in his office when the package exploded and later died in the hospital. An unknown amount of property damage was reported and no group claimed responsibility for the attack.
