Incident Summary:

02/28/2011: On Monday, in the village of San Pablo, Teorema, Norte de Santander, Colombia, guerrillas attempted to kidnap a medical team consisting of a doctor, a nurse and the driver of the ambulance in order to force them to treat wounded FARC militants. However, the intervention of local villagers prevented the kidnapping from being carried out. No group has claimed responsibility although authorities suspect the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) is responsible.
