03/01/2011: On Tuesday, in the neighborhood of Gomari in Maiduguri, Borno, Nigeria, three unidentified militants fired upon and killed Santal Ali, a policeman who was off-duty at home, with a Kalashnikov rifle. No group claimed responsibility, but the militant group Boko Haram was thought to be responsible for the attack.
