Incident Summary:
04/02/2011: On Saturday, in the rural area known as Selvas de Lipa outside Arauca, Arauca, Colombia, the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) forced passengers off a bus belonging to the Sugamuxi bus company. The militants then set the bus, including all of the luggage and belongings of the passengers, on fire. No group claimed responsibility for the attack but authorities believe the FARC is responsible.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
Criterion 2
There must be evidence of an intention to coerce, intimidate, or convey some other message to a larger audience (or audiences) than the immediate victims.
