Incident Summary:

04/11/2011: On Monday night, during prayers in a mosque in Nawa, Helmand, Afghanistan, unidentified armed men opened fire upon and killed a tribal elder, Ghulam Dastagir, who was a district council member in Nawa. Police later arrested three suspected men who are connected to the shooting. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, but the Taliban is suspected of being responsible.
