05/04/2011: On Wednesday, in Malkangiri, Odisha, India, 50 militants stormed into the Niliguda area and triggered landmines targeting a gram panchayat (local self-government) office building. There were no casualties, but the ceiling of the two-storied building caved in and the structure suffered extensive damage. No group claimed responsibility for the attack, but it is suspected that the Communist Party of India-Maoists (CPI-M) were responsible.
