Incident Summary:

05/26/2011: On Thursday morning at 0530, on a road leading to Tyrnyauz, Elbruss District, Kabardino Balkariya, Russia, unidentified assailants planted two improvised explosive devices (IEDs) on the curb of the Baksan-Azal federal road. Interior Ministry forces arrived and defused the two IEDs with no casualties. The power of the bombs was equivalent to over five and 10 kilograms of TNT. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
