Incident Summary:

05/29/2011: On Sunday evening at 2000, in Bauchi, Bauchi, Nigeria, in one of three linked attacks, 14 people were killed and 40 others were injured when unidentified militants detonated three improvised explosive devices simultaneously in a market near the Nigerian 33 Artillery Brigade barracks. An unknown amount of material damage was caused to the market in the attack. The militant group Boko Haram claimed responsibility for the attack on a BBC radio station.
