05/29/2011: On Sunday, in Kismayo, Jubbada Hoose, Somalia, suspected al-Shabaab militants abducted eight teenagers who were accused of committing deeds against the Islamic religion according to the militants. No casualties were reported and the status of the hostages is unknown. No group claimed responsibility, although al-Shabaab is thought to be responsible.
