Incident Summary:

06/02/2011: On Thursday afternoon around 1505, in Maiduguri, Borno, Nigeria, unidentified militants detonated a homemade bomb at the Saint Patrick Catholic Church near the Borno state government secretariat building; no casualties were reported. Telephone poles, the bishop's office, and the security fence surrounding the secretariat building were all damaged in the attack. No group claimed responsibility, but the militant group Boko Haram was thought to be responsible for the attack.
