Incident Summary:

06/10/2011: Assailants detonated an explosive device and opened fire on two Indian Police Service (IPS) vehicle at a bridge near Gatam, Dantewada, Chhattisgarh, India. At least ten officers were killed and three other officers were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incident to Maoists.
