Incident Summary:
06/18/2011: On Saturday evening around 2045, at the Starlight Karaoke Bar along the national highway in Tacurong, Sultan Kudarat, Maguidanao, Philippines, unidentified militants detonated an improvised explosive device constructed from an 81-millimeter mortar shell. Five female employees, identified as Elenita Alesna, Noraida Lagiya, Glaiza Caday, Noraya Raiz and Rosalie Lakim, were injured and the attack caused an unknown amount of property damage. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
