Incident Summary:

07/02/2011: On Saturday morning at 0750, in the Shamalzai district of Zabol, Afghanistan, unidentified militants planted a roadside improvised explosive device which detonated as a civilian vehicle passed by. Thirteen civilians were killed, including five men, four women and two children, and their vehicle was damaged. There has been no claim of responsibility but the Taliban is suspected.
