09/14/2011: On Wednesday morning at 0830, in al-Shumali, Babil, Iraq, suspected Islamic State of Iraq militants detonated a vehicle borne improvised explosive device targeting the Ehsan tourist restaurant. The blast killed five civilians, wounded 41 others, and destroyed the front of the restaurant and set multiple nearby cars on fire. No group claimed responsibility.
