09/27/2011: On Tuesday, on the Tunceli-Pulumur highway near Tunceli, Turkey, unidentified militants attacked two vehicles by unknown means, set them ablaze and then kidnapped one village guard. The hostage was taken to an unknown location and his status is unknown. No casualties were reported and no group claimed responsibility, although the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) was suspected.
