Incident Summary:

10/13/2011: On Thursday evening, in Miram Shah, Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Pakistan, Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) commander Maulvi Muhammad Iftikhar was shot and killed by unidentified gunmen. The TTP commander was travelling in a car with his guards to the market from his religious school when the gunmen fired bullets from a car with tinted windows. The gunmen then fled the scene. The commander and one guard were killed, while two others were injured. No group claimed responsibility for the attack, but security officials believe that internal differences amongst the militants may have caused the incident.
