Incident Summary:

11/4/2011: Suspected members of Boko Haram detonated an explosive device outside of a police post in Potsikum, Yobe state, Nigeria. There were no immediate reports of injuries or fatalities as a result of the explosion. The attack on the police post was only one of a series of attacks targeting police and churches in and around Yobe state that day; sources believe that the attacks were coordinated by Boko Haram as part of their campaign to impose sharia law across Nigeria.
