11/6/2011: Members of New People's Army (NPA) ambushed a military-led medical mission in Daraga town, Albay province, Philippines. The attack triggered a 15 minute gunfight between the assailants and the military; a lieutenant was killed and another soldier was injured. The doctor accompanying the mission was unharmed.
