Incident Summary:

11/8/2011: Unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire on Necitas Pujanes, the chief of the Philippine Coconut Authority, as he was driving on the Maharlika Highway at Isabang village, Quezon province, Philippines. Pujanes was shot multiple times with a .45 caliber pistol; he died from his wounds. The assailants fled and no group claimed responsibility for the attack. Specific motive is unknown.
