Incident Summary:

11/10/2011: Two suspected members of the New People's Army (NPA) fired upon an off-duty soldier in Davao city, Davao region, Philippines. Colonel Leopoldo Galon was riding a motorcycle with his two children and his nephew when the assailants began firing at him. Galon was killed in the incident and his children were injured when the motorcycle crashed. The assailants fled.
