Incident Summary:

11/15/2011: A roadside bomb targeting a deputy police chief exploded in southern Mogadishu, Benadir region, Somalia. Mohamed Abdirahman Qasim, one of Mogadishu's district police chiefs, was in his vehicle in southern Dharkinley district when the device detonated. Qasim escaped injury, although at least two of his security staff were injured. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
