Incident Summary:

11/16/2011: A bomb planted in the middle of Galadima Road detonated in Maiduguri city, Borno State, Nigeria. The device exploded in the early morning hours, before neighboring residents were awake. No one was injured in the explosion and there were no reported damages. Boko Haram is believed responsible for the incident and, although specific motive is unknown, it is believed the group is committing such acts in order to establish its presence in the city.
